I just read about pages 149 to 159. When Sherlock Holmes gets food from Irene secretly, he tells her to prepare an eye patch. When Irene's father goes meeting, they go to Mayfair. They find Lear Glass Blowing, and pretend to buy the glass eye. They think that the murderer maybe is a Mayfair doctor. Sherlock Holmes wants to let his mother be a part of the deadly game. Malefactor tells him that on the night of murder, there wasn't only one scream. He wants Sherlock Holmes to saveIrene.
This part of story reminds me about a time in Venice. We visited a glass blowing factory. There were many kinds of colors of sand, because glass is made from sand. First, the worker put a piece of glass into stove. When it turned red, he used a clipand in five seconds, it became a small horse! Next, he put a second piece of glass into the stove. This time he put different colors of sand in it. It was a difficult skill! He needed to let the sand distribute evenly! After few minutes, it turned into a vase. Another worker took a piece of paper and put it in the vase. The paper burned! Glass blowing is very cool, don't you think? I've seen something similar here in Taiwan. If I remember correctly, it was in Hsinchu. ^_^
What I think it will happen next is that they will investigate Mayfair completely, and find out who the doctor is.
